Above the Rest Barber and Beauty is a Christian based barbershop and salon. Our shop is found at 818 E. Louetta Rd., Ste C, Spring, Texas 77373. Owner, Karl Davis, is a “Master Barber” and has been in the barber industry for over 25 years. He is currently a board member of C.H.I. North Harris and C.H.I. Kingwood. After working in a few shops, Mr. Davis decided to jump out on faith. He chose to embark on the journey of opening Above the Rest Barber and Beauty.
Above the Rest’s original location was at 21630 Aldine Westfield Rd., Humble, Texas 77338. Within a few years of having the doors open, Above the Rest outgrew the location. We moved to our current location in the spring of 2016. The shop has become a pillar in the community. Our goal and mission are to provide a comforting experience to everybody who graces its threshold.

“When people inquire about Above the Rest Barber, I simply explain to them it is my astute responsibility to provide them with exceptional services and a positive atmosphere. I also want them to know that we are family oriented and Christian based. I want everybody to feel welcomed and comfortable.”
Timeline
Our owner, Karl Davis, completed all state requirements and received his barber’s license from Dallas Barber College. Upon receiving his barber’s license Karl began cutting at A Salon for You Shop.
